ct scan conclusion

i have recently gone for a spiral scan with/without 70 cc nonionic iv contrast; axial 5 mm reconstructions from thoracic inlet through diaphragm (6/2/10).  Report Conclusion: few small pulmonary nodules noted, likely postinflammatory.  However, short interval follow-up in 3-6 months is suggested.  Small hiatal hernia.  A few hepatic hypodensities are noted which are too small to entirely characterize by Ct, however, likely represent small cysts or hemangiomata in the absence of known primary neoplasm.
I am most concerned about the "pulmonary nodules".  Can you please explain what this all means.   My primary only said, "Nothing to be worried about; you don't have cancer".  Please help me understand this.

benign liver lesions are often found incidentally on abdominal imaging. The same goes for very small pulmonary densities which may be from an old bronchitis or pneumonia.  The report does not sound worrisome.
