increased sgpt

my daughter 11 years caught jaundice and one weak ago her sgpt was 2110 and now after chelidoniam 12x and brionia 30 with lifit once daily her sgpt is 181, why it has not gone down normal, whose range is 5 to 40? what else I should do her himoglobine is 7.50.

If her SGPT dropped from an initial test value of 2110, and in a week went down to 181, thats pretty remarkable!  Test again in a week and see where the level is....the liver requires a certain amount of time to heal, and the fact her labs are about 1/12th of where they were a week ago is very encouraging

my daughter 9 years caught jaundice.after 10 days of treatment her sgpt has reduce to 183 from 246 and bilirubin has came down to 1.4 from 2.9. still the level are high. suggest what need to doen to speedy recovery

i were caught by jaundice , my billirubin level was 1.81 & sgpt level was 127 .after a week my billirubin level were decreased to 1.40 but sgpt level is increased to 488.4...why this was happen...i had taken complete rest last 1 week..

HI,
You can't "catch" jaundice. It is not a virus or bacteria. It is when your liver isn't functioning properly or sometimes babies get it for a few days after birth. All of my kids had jaundice after birth, if it's bad enough they put them under the light. Very common in darker skinned babies. If it's in an adult, it can be caused by Hepatitis or Cirrhosis of the liver. Sometimes can be caused by an autoimmune disease.
