Post liver transplant problem.

Dear sir,
My six and half yrs. old son had undergone liver transplantation on oct.2009 in Delhi ,India. His LFT report is normal ( other than  alka. phos. which is at slightly higher side than the normal range ).Now my son is on immunosupprassing drug.I have observed one thing that since last three month he suffers from loose motions very frequently.Colour of motion is not so normal. He passes motion mostly greenish or some time it takes the colour of clay.During loose motion he is being given BIFILAC sachet. B.D.for 2/3 days asper doctor's advice. Then he gets relief .I am very much confused if there has been any problem with the transplanted liver. Pl.advise me as What I should  do now.

I am two years out from transplant, I take so many different kinds of meds, that each day is a surprise as to what the color, consistency, amount will be.  Brown, green, lime, clay-like, pink, all kinds of beautiful colors.  Mostly pastels though.

i do not think that the loose bowel movements are directly related to the transplant itself.  they could be from the medications such as mycophenolate or ursodiol.  sometimes certain infections can also contribute.  If the liver tests are OK, then the loose bowel movements are not from the liver.
