chirrosis and lab report

Husbands lab results
AST 41
ALT 76
Total Bilrubin; 0.9
Diagnosed with chirrosis. These are from November 2013.
Next appointment is in March. Meld score: 10
He keeps consuming alcohol. Should we expect much worse lab reports next time? How about prognosis if he keeps drinking?

not really, but these are all life threatening complications so he must stop ASAP

Thanks! That is an encouraging news. He had variceral bleeding a year ago and he has ascites, edema and confusion . Does these symptoms change the prognosis if he keeps drinking?

the blood tests are not bad in the setting of cirrhosis--if he stops drinking there is potentially hope for a full recovery
