STUDY PROTOCOL:
SECTIONS OF 1MM THICKNESS WERE OBTAINED AT APPROPRIATE INTERVALS IN STATE OF ART MULTI
DETECTOR CT SCANNER (500SLICES/SEC) SO AS TO COVER THE REGION FROM ROOT OF NECK TO THE
DIAPHRAGMATIC DOMES, USING HIGH RESOLUTION ALGORITHM.
Clinical information :Cough
with bleeding from mouth.
FINDINGS:
Few ill defined centrilobular nodules are seen in superior segment of right lower lobes.
Rest of bilateral lungs reveal normal parenchyma with normal bronchovascular pattern.
Mediastinal fat planes are well maintained.
Mediastinal great vessels are normal in course and calibre.
Trachea is in midline with normal divisions at the carina.
Enlarged right paratracheal lymphnode seen measuring approximately 14.5x18.5mm. Few small
mediastinal nodes are also seen.
Cardiac size is normal with no pericardiac collection.
Pleura is normal with no pleural thickening /or free effusion.
Visualised bones and muscles are normal.
CT scan report. is it lung cancer ? o r i will get it in future?
