Paranoid about lung cancer

Hey, I'm a 21 year old non smoker/drinker but I do have sharp pain at the middle of my back and it's annoying! Went to hospital for x ray couple of weeks ago and came back normal actually had 2 and both came back normal - the sound of my lungs are normal according to the doc.. My question is can I have lung cancer even tho I don't have family history of lung cancer ?

Cancer doesn't discriminate and you can get it at any age and even if you have no family history.  In your case you have clear X-Rays and do not have lung cancer.  Smoking increases your chances as well and it's fabulous that your a non smoker.
Pain in your back can have many causes but in your situation it's not Cancer.
You may have strained a muscle and not realized this occurred.  If it continues to be bothersome check back with your Dr for further evaluation.
Best to you
