Nodules on Lung

Three months ago I was having pain under my left arms, and my doctor informed me I had swollen lymph noles. It was also causing pain under the arm and felt like it was burning. He decided to do a ct-scan of my chest and there he found a nodule on my lungs. The pain under my arm when away for about 2 month and the it returned and he decided to do another ct-scan and thats when he found out that I had a few more nodules on my left lung. He wants me to have a biopsy done. Could this be a sign of cancer?

I also have a swollen lymph node under my arm.  I had a CT scan of my lung in June, and they found a 4.4mm spot on my left lung. I  then had  another  CT in January,  and my nodule has grown to 6mm.  So I am thinking that the two things are related,  and it is definately a possibility of cancer,  but if it's small nodules,  that is a good thing I hope. I have been reading everything I can find & they say if it's small it is in it's most treatable stage.  I dunno,  I am scared to death myself,  good luck & go see a pulmonary specialist right away.

Hi,
I think it is a possibility that the nodules in the lung may be related to the armpit lymph glands.
Please take an appointment at the earliest for a FNAC (fine needle aspiration cytology) or a biopsy. This will settle the question about the diagnosis.
The next step then would be to plan appropriate treatment.
