Hello. Sorry to hear you are not yet well --
I have been using Cat's Claw and found it quite helpful. It is in tincture form (little bottle with a dropper top) so I can control the dosage, since I'm very sensitive to everything. The 'standard' dosage is (acc. to the bottle) 30 drops a day, but I have been taking 1 drop in a big glass of water up to 4-6 times a day, and it definitely has a good effect on me. My memory is better; body aches resolved.
Samento is a variation of Cat's Claw, so I read, that omits some portion from the Cat's Claw (which is the version found in nature), supposedly for a good reason, but I haven't tried Samento.
I googled "lyme disease scotland" and found a reference to an article:
2009: Milner Rachel M; Mavin Sally; Ho-Yen Darrel O
Lyme borreliosis in Scotland is different.
The Journal of Infection 2009;59(2):146-7.
I couldn't access the article (which sounds interesting) but the third author (Ho-Yen) is in Inverness, based on other listings I found in that google search. I also saw a fragment of a comment about Ho-Yen's opinions being nonsense, but didn't read it. You'll find it in the google search quoted above. Here in the US, a rude comment about an LLMD by a mainstream MD is sometimes a good sign.
Best wishes --
I just saw this website recommended in an old post from a couple of years ago:
www.lymeneteurope.org/forum/
You might find some help there in locating an LLMD in Scotland.
Best wishes -- J.
