Appt tomorrow..

Hey guys,
I got my first appt tomorrow with the lyme dr.  I'm a bit nervous and excited.  I'm ready to get some answers.  I'll be taking my Igenex results with me and am hoping that is enough to begin treatment.  Any suggestions for the first visit?

I'll let you know how it turns out.

I am VERY happy you found an LLMD.   I pray that you get some answers.  I am sure he will to do some tests, so just hang in there....we are all with you!

Blessings!

It's also good to have someone with you as you may not remember everything the doctor says due to the stress of another appt.

Good luck! I like the advice you had already been given. When I saw my LLMD I was very nervous, but everything turned out fine and I hope it will for you too.

Bring as many of your medical test results with you as you can.  Exclusion is a big part of diagnosis, so you'll want to bring all of your test results, not just the Igenex.

If you don't have copies, list all of the tests you've had and what the results were to the best of your knowledge.

Yay!  I am always anxious at appointments -- it's like trying out for a Broadway show -- my time in the limelight, long awaited and desperately wanted.

I make a short list of questions/issues and take it with me.

I also TRY to take quick notes of things the dr says, but I usually fail at it -- not enough time to listen and write, so I try to sit down right after the appointment, in the waiting room, and make notes.

You'll be fine!  Let us know how it goes --
