YAY! It's great to hear from you, and so wonderful to hear you are making progress against the Bugz. Thinking of you, and sitting here smiling that you sound so good! Take care --
I just happen to check in this morning .. I been really busy I just opened up a new coffeeshop working 80 plus hours a week. This only possible by finding my awesome DR. who is getting me back on the road recovery. Last year at this time if I worked 80 hours plus I would ended up in the hospital. Jackie California I went for a check up last month he said I was not out of the woods yet but getting there Whoo! I'm started a new medicine this week and boy the Lyme is not liking it some of my old systems are coming back but that means it killing more Lyme! I go back at the end of January to hopefully start cutting back on some medication. Jackie 997 if you private message me I will give you his name and number . He usually has a waiting list and the appointments are usually running behind but a small price to pay. This Dr. Saved my life and my well being he will always have special place in my heart. Last time I went to his office he received a award of excellence for treating Texas Lyme patients.
and PS, you could try to send a "private message" to houseofallboys, which will be forwarded to her private email, if she still signed up with this website.

The person you send to will be 'houseofallboys', and you have to type that in as well.
Welcome to MedHelp. HouseOfAllBoys hasn't posted for a while, not sure if she is checking in regularly.
I understand that Texas doesn't have many (if any) LLMDs, due to opposition by the Texas Medical Board against treating Lyme aggressively, tho there is a Texas Lyme disease association who may have some suggestions for you to find an LLMD.
Their website is at
txlda.com
You can also send an email to
contact [at] ILADS [dot] com
and ask for a referral to a Lyme specialist; tell them what areas you are able to travel to, such as east Texas and Lousiana, or whatever works.
Let us know if that doesn't help, and we'll think some more.
Hope you find some relief soon -- we've all been there.
Best wishes to you, let us know how you do, okay?
Hi, I've beeen struggling with misdiagnosis for years now. I was hoping to find the name of an LLMD in louisiana or TX (houston or Austin)
Wonderful! Fingers AND toes all crossed here, let us know how it goes.
Wishing you all the best --
