Hand tingling/numbness/insomnia/eye twitching/red/hot ear

I am experiencing the following, bad right hand tingling, so bad it wakes me up.  It lasts for about 15 minutes, then I have to get up.  Also I am experiencing insomnia badly, can't sleep.  I am not sure if this is my lyme or maybe carpal tunnel.  Also I have elevated eosinophils and liver enzymes. Every time I go out in the sun I get a rash on my face over my cheeks.  The same red spot appears each time. I am going to the Dr. tomorrow.
Thanks

margypops, you'll get the b12 into you much better with the sublingual.  I take both a B complex capsule that I swallow and a b12 "dot" that dissolves under my tongue.

It may be TMI, but just so you or others are not "surprised," it makes your urine very bright yellow.

I've only seen improvement in the tingling with antibiotic treatment.  However, a vitamin B12 deficiency will also cause tingling.  You may want to try a B12 supplement (it's not well absorbed in pill form, but there are "sub lingual" tablets that you dissolve under the tongue).

Even if it doesn't work, my doctors always mentioned B12 deficiency in the differential for my tingling symptoms.  So by supplementing, my blood work always puts my b12 at the high end of the normal range and thus eliminates a deficiency as a culprit.

I don't do anything for the tingling.  I just live with it.  It used to scare me but now I am pretty much used to living with it.  I don't have it all the time. I'm not sure how much can be done about it.  Early on I tried a medication called Neurontin but it did not make any difference.

I thought so...I hate this hand tingling it's awful.  I already was on the doxy for a month.  I also believe it returned. Margy, Patsy what do you do for the tingling?

The Dr is running another set of bloodwork IGg, IGm and Western Blot.  He thinks it's post lyme sydrome...just great, this is really scaring me because I was reading somewhere that some Dr's don't even want to take these cases.  I'll keep you guys posted.  Thanks again.

I get red, hot hands and feet but not all at the same time.  It can be one hand or one foot or both.  I also have tingling, twitching too.
