Lyme as STD. What about between two women?

Hi everyone,
I'm a French girl (sorry for mistakes) searching for answers. I'm in good health, but the problem isn't from me, but from my girlfriend (So, you guessed we're lesbians).
She has Lyme Disease, and we are wondering if there are real risks to have sexual relationships? Are these risks very important or are the risks low? How to be careful about it? There are a lot of studies showing Lyme as an STD, and other studies show the risk very low. Are there risks also by kissing through saliva?
I'm waiting for your answers. Thank you to had reading me.

According to a prominent doctor (member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the first person to isolate Lyme in my country), Lyme is NOT an STD, it doesn't even spread by blood transfusion. The CDC holds the same view https://www.cdc.gov/lyme/faq/index.html
