hi, thought I would share some of my phone conversation with a chap who had 'lyme disease'  for more than a year and who is now well.

he went through the nightmare of not knowing what was wrong and the added nightmare of main stream doctors denying him much help - you all know how it goes -

he eventually went to an LLMD. who diagnosed him - without positive serology tests - his two lab. tests were neg.-
he was treated with 300mg. of 'doxy' daily.

it took just over one year to clear the 'lyme' - and from then is slowly building his health and strength and is feeling good.

I asked him about diet and supplements - he ate live yoghurt -and a good healthy diet.

he had previously heard of 'lyme' - but didn't understand anything about it - it was only after someone mentioned the possibility of tick bites and lyme that he started reading -up about it.

I thought you 'all' would like to hear a positive story.

he said that if possible - it is a good idea to take all the 'doxy' in one dose - if 'digestive system' allows - this was advised by his LLMD.

obviously individuals would be best advised to ask their doctor about this.

I am not back on abx. as my stomach is still not 'back to some sort of normalacy' - bad constipation !

haven't had any good day's lately - but here is hoping

Thank you for this positive story of your friend do you know if he had side effects from the med  Doxy .. I am interested as I may have to take it if I get a positive diagnosisI have had one negative one.
