My lyme report

I live in uk and tested for lyme with clinic in Germany but I cant understand the results. The ELISPOT is negative but the serespot is positive. The ELISPOT if more accurate than the Seraspot. The report came back saying:

You have tested negative on the Borrelia Elispot. Although you have tested positive on the Seraspot, I have checked with Dr. and because of the negative Elispot there is a chance that this result could be a cross reaction with a virus such as EBV, CMV, HSV1/2, Coxsackie, VZV and Parvovirus B19. Saying that, Lyme should be a clinical diagnosis so please don't rule it out.

Many people have test results that are negative.  The tests themselves are not very reliable.  Many people find a doctor who specializes in Lyme disease to make a clinical diagnosis from symptoms.  Until we have better tests... see a Lyme doctor it's your best bet.  Hope all goes well.
