NEGATIVE LYME TEST???????
My 9 year old son who was born with a left club foot and has had several surgeries woke up on mothers day with left side of face paralized. Doctors at er said it was bell's palsy so they tested for lyme desease only. After a week test was negative and there are no other signs of being lyme desease. What should our doctor be testing for? And how accurate is the Lyme test?
The testing is not very accurate or reliable. It can come back negative at any time whether the disease is present or not.
