I'd call Igengex with any questions. They are on pacific time. Their phone number is on their website.
Good luck I will be following this as I am thinking this is the way to go for me..
Well I got my blood drawn and am now waiting for the Fed Ex to come pick it up. I had my dr write in the diagnosis codes that she had forgot at my appt. When I looked up the codes she put in online they didn't correlate with lyme disease. I think she messed up! So I went in and added the one I saw for lyme disease 088.81. Why do they need these diagnosis codes anyways? Or is it more for insurance purposes?
Oh and also they sent an ice pak but it says to ship at room temperature. ?? I wasn't sure if I should put the ice pak in with it or not.
I'll be glad when this is all over!!! How long does it usually take for results?
Thanks as always!
As long as it gets there before the weekend it should be fine. It just shouldn't sit over the weekend. In the US I was told not to ship it past Wed. so that this would not happen.
thats good .
hope you don't mind me asking but how much did it cost? I am seeing LLMD. next monday - am going to ask how much it would be for him to sort out test - don't know if he uses Igenex though.

I think it'll be okay cause on their form it says to ship samples within 4 days of being drawn. And it'll get there in two days. I'm hoping it'll be ok. I'd hate to spend that money and have it messed up!
I have no idea how soon the 'test' has to reach the lab. - could you contact 'Igenex' about this ?
Yeah... it was in London. I didn't want to drive that far. I just called Fed Ex and they are going to have someone come pick it up at my house today between 1 and 5. She said it will be delivered to Igenex on Thursday before 1030 am. I hope this will be ok!
hi, is your nearest shipping center too far to drive to ? I guess you have already 'googled' for info.
