My visit with LLMD today....

Hi Everyone!

It's been a long time since I've been posting but wanted to check-in and say Hi to everyone.  Went to see my LLMD today and got the results of my latest round of blood work.  My co-infection of erlichiosis is still not cleared and hadn't gotten better from the prior round of tests. My IGG on the lyme was better though showing less positive bands.

I've been on the same meds (Amox and Biaxin) since my lyme journey began back in January.  Because I'm not progressing anymore on the co-infection, he is switching me to Ramafin and Zithromax....Excuse the spelling on those meds.  I don't have the meds yet and am not sure how to spell them but I'm sure you all know what I mean.  I'm expecting a herx from them, but at least I'll know that is what it's from this time around!

I do feel like I've made leaps and bounds improvements since this all started, so I really couldn't be happier.  I think back about how I was feeling one year ago and I was completely consumed with fear of MS, didn't know what was going on with my body and really just wanted to end it all.  WOW....how things change!!!

Anyhow, I'm going to check on the other posts now but wanted to let you all know how things are going.

Carrie

Considering all you've been through healthwise and wedding-wise, you sound  sturdy.  When you were really really sick, would you have imagined you would get through all you have recently?

You hang in there!

Hi Jackie:

I did tell my LLMD about the rifing a couple of appts ago.  He said they "know that the rife does something, but they aren't exactly sure what".  Anyway, he says that he has patients that cannot afford the meds that use the rife for maintenance......

I think they really, he just cannot say at loud that he supports it because it's not FDA approved...I don't know.

I haven't been using my rife consistently because of everything that has been going on and I was on vacation last week but I plan on getting back to it soon.  I think I'll wait a few more weeks and see how my body does with these new meds.

Good to hear from you, very glad you are feeling better, but sorry to hear the bugz are being tricky.

Have you told your doc that you are Rifing?  If so, what was the reaction you got?
