Sorry you are having problems -- what does your MD say?
When i take tests, quizzes and do other school assignments when i feel rushed there is a thumping that gets quicker and quicker in my head as i get more stressed which i feel like rushes me to get these things done quicker. Its so distracting that half the time i end of failing whatever i was doing and become so paranoid about it that i forget things i spent weeks studying. Please let me know what you think it may be.
Hi, Monica,
I read all of that at the website Limedisease.org.
I'm followed by a psychiatrist and I asked him if I could have Lyme disease, and he said NOT POSSIBLE, BECAUSE THE LYME DISEASE IS AN INFECTION CAUSED BY A DEER TICK IN HOT WEATHER COUNTRIES. I live in Montreal, Canada, with freezing temperatures, and there are no deers here.
I'm wondering what's wrong with me, and really hope that it won't last for long.
Thank you so much !
Cheers, Diana
On this website there are 2 NEURO FORUMS .....(I don't find the question mark).
I just clicked on Forums, and I SAW ONE NEURO FORUM
Thank you
Diana
It sounds like a neuro eval would be good. I know it takes so long to get in. I've waited 3-4 months for appts. myself.
You could try posting on the other neuro forum. Doctors answer on there too.
I forgot to tell you that my appointment with the neurologist is on March 10, that's in
2 MONTHS FROM TODAY.
Diana
No patsy10. The only symptom I have are those hallucinations that I don't know if to call them musical or auditive. They started in October, but not on a daily basis. .But since mid-november I have them on a daily basis since I get up, and come to bed with me. They are as church bells that bang and bang together violently.
My psychiatrist said that these musical or auditive hallucinations are very rare, so he scheduled me an appointment with a neurologist spcecialized in musical hallucinations.
My psychiatrist gave me an anti-hallucinator, that did me worse. Now, he gave me an anti-convulsant, and yesterday, for the first time, I was free of the hallucinations. But I am really scared of becoming crazy. It's too much for me.
EVERY TIME I TRIED TO POST ON THE NEUROLOGY FORUM, it said that it did not accept any more posts.
Kind regards,
Diana
Welcome Diana190. I can't tell you what is wrong with you but I can tell you that I have had ringing in my ears that lasted for a year straight non-stop. There are no doctors answering questions on this forum but you could post this question on the neurology forum here as well if you would like a physicians answer. Lyme disease is possible anywhere but I think a good evaluation by a physician would be needed. Do you have any other symptoms other than the musical hallucinations?
