They use the alcohol to extract the lomatium. You can always get lomation isolate from eclectic institute in a glycerine base

I don't ake them all daily- usually just 2 or 3. I know what each is for and decide what I need every day. Except for alittle heel and sacroiliac pain I am relatively symptom free. I do though follow a strict diet. In the beginning I was on most of these and more simultaneously then most became sporatic as I improved. I know some of you don't but I have faith in good muscle testers (finding a good one can be hard) and I have them check periodically to see what I need. I bring stuff in based on what some of the experts recommend and have them test. I like Ann Corson, Scott Forgrens (betterhealthguy.com) and I don't do well on alcohol tinctures- so many used herbs in caps

I also use takesumi supreme (supreme nutrition) and bentonite (sonnes #7 detoxificant) to make sure I detox well and the dead organisms are taken out, occasional camu for detox too and the BFB's by supreme for biofilms. I do a low fat diet like Stephen Fry recommends. Sometimes Vital Guard Supreme and sometimes cardioviva (get at Walgreens), sometimes hemoGuard supreme. I vary these somewhat by intuition. Sometimes rife machine. Twice in the past before this regimen I ended up in the hospital with blood clots secondary to the infections causing hypercoagulation. I did herx on this regimen with worst symptoms being memory loss and fatigue. They are much less now

I prefer Eclectic herbs- Lomatium isolate as it is strong but gentle. I also use Golden Thread Supreme and Melia Supreme. Am presently asymptomatic. Not sure if I will relapse at some point

Oh, good!  You're very well informed then -- excellent.  That's what Lyme takes:  thoughtful persistence.  Good for you!

Have you heard of Stephen Buhner?  He is a master herbalist who has been around quite a while.

When I first found out I had Lyme, I bought his book 'Healing Lyme' and found it very interesting.  I ended up going to an LLMD who does only antibiotics, so didn't go the herbal route (tho I take some herbs now, post-Lyme), but my opinion of Buhner is fairly high, fwiw.

He has a website too, and here is a letter to him and a response about LDM 100:

----------------------------------
Dear Stephen,

What do you know about LDM 100 (Lomatium dissectum)? It’s new and growing fast amongst the autism arena. Many are claiming that autism is really just lyme. Well, my autistic children and I have lyme.

I am starting on your protocol with cryptolepis first, since we also have bartonella and babesia.

LDM 100 is reportedly a lyme-killer as well as kills much else. I was wondering what you think of it, and if it could fit within your protocol.

---------------------------------
--- Stephen’s response:

Lomatium dissectum is an exceptionally potent herb.

I generally use it with pneumonia, lung infections that will not clear, SARS, intrangient flu, and so on.

I am leery about it being used long term. I think of it primarily as an antiviral rather than an antibacterial even though it does have antibacterial actions.

I have no evidence that it is effective in lyme (and none that it is not).

I am not so sure about autism just being lyme infection; there are a lot of theories out there about autism, the proponents of each theory being pretty intense about it.

I do realize that there seems to be a high proportion of autistic children that also have lyme; I am just beginning to look into this but it is early days yet.

Primarily I feel about Lomatium the way I do any herb; use it intelligently and see if it helps. If it does, it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks about it.

I would, however, again, mention that it is a very potent herb and I am not sure that long term use is indicated for most people. This is not to scare you off it, just to increase your awareness.
------------------------------------------------------

You can google/search and find more from him by searching his last name and 'healing lyme'.  Hope that helps.

Thank you. I did hours of google searching as well, but was hoping someone had personal experience. I am a member of several Lyme groups on Facebook and one person mentioned I should be on this - so I will let y'all know how it goes

I have Lyme and other infections, and I'm able to test herbs and supplements for biocompatibility and effectiveness against Lyme. In earnest, I had hoped it would work because it is readily available and my family uses it for various things. However, it is not effective at combating Lyme or other similar spirochete infections. Herbs and supplements I've found to be strongly effective against this type of bacteria, along with where I got them, are:
- cat's claw (in capsules, by Progressive Laboratories, search online), this herb has also been used as a supplemental help against syphilis.
- pure allicin (in capsules, Allicin Pro by questforwellness.com - best and most potent/effective allicin supplement I've ever encountered. Better to place a phone order instead of an online order, as there's a glitch on the site regarding shipping cost).
- And the herbal blend called A-biotic by Dr. Rawls (vitalplan.com) (this doctor also offers a program with supplement kit and staff support to help people recover from chronic Lyme).

Quality counts when it comes to herbs, and I've seen the potency of these ones. Other potent Lyme-fighting herbs and naturopathic/homeopathic medicines exist, and your best approach is to find sound scientific evidence of efficacy and read reviews that support their effectiveness, like you've done.

A few warnings: All of the above supplements should be taken with food, especially allicin because it can irritate the stomach. Taking too much of these herbs can upset the digestive tract, cause stomach irritation, nausea, or lack of appetite.

Cat's claw is great and fights Lyme well, but not everyone should use it. (Search online for herb contraindications and side-effects.) People with low blood pressure should avoid or be careful with cat's claw and supplement blends like A-biotic, which contain cat's claw, as this herb can further lower your blood pressure. Consult your doctor before starting use. If you have low blood pressure, this can cause even lower blood pressure, which can be dangerous. If you feel chest tightness or chat pain, difficulty breathing, lightheadedness, dizziness, weakness, or fainting, then discontinue use and seek urgent medical help.

I recommend looking into rife machine therapy for Lyme, and possibly researching the mostly-affordable Spooky2 rife machine. See "When Antibiotics Fail: Lyme Disease and Rife Machines" by Bryan Rosner (preview in Google books). Research properly and consult a qualified Lyme-literate medical doctor (LLMD) for guidance before use, as most are familiar with Rife Machines or bioelectronic frequency therapies. Don't waste your time consulting a conventional physician about rife therapy for Lyme; most aren't aware of it or are completely ignorant of its potency.

All the best to you!

I've never used ldm100 so I went looking to see what it's about.

Seems that there's been at least one company asked by a consumer watch dog group to stop making claims about it that might keep people from taking the medications needed for the disease. It's herbs.

" The consumer advocate group that brought the complaint against the company was the National Advertising Division (NAD) of the Council of Better Business Bureaus. The NAD was concerned that people would forego medical treatment in favor of treating with LDM-100."

Let us know how you like it, ashely, please.
