Lyme or coinfections and vaccines?

Greetings,

I have been having bladder pain and pressure, chest pains, fatigue, and depression anxiety symptoms for over a year, causing my doctor to suspect lyme or lyme related infections. I have sent in a comprehensive test that should show any of these infections. Meanwhile, I start at a University in the fall which requires that I receive several vaccines. Supposing that I do have Lyme or a co-infection, would the vaccine pose any risks? I am very worried about receiving vaccines while my immune system is so weakened.

Thanks,

Cana

I have had problems with vaccines myself so as Jackie said I would talk to your doctor.

It's a good question, and asking your doctor would be a good idea.  Good luck at University!
