Hi,I went to urgent care today because my right side is swollen..it hurts to touch. I have a fever of 100 degrees and my blood pressures a little high of 128/96..mine are usually 110/70. I'm in a lot of pain right now. Has anyone had this problem before? They took my blood so they can find out whats wrong. I should get the results soon,I hope. My pain goes from my right breast to my rib to my shoulder and into my neck..it gets me worried. I just want to know whats wrong. I will talk to you all later!

Sounds like it could be degenerative joint disease.

I got a call from my doctor and he said I have degenerative things going on. I have it in 4 places. My sternum,clavical,lower spine and hips. Does anyone know what that might mean? Hes prescribing me with Tramadol for the pain.

Hey everyone,I got home a little while ago from work. I worked 8 hours tonight no stop. I didn't rest or eat. I was busy with pumping gas and busy at the register. We only have 1 gas station in town so it was busy these past 4 days. I worked last night the 8 hour shift and tonight. I have the next 3 days off,so I can get some rest. My feet feel swollen. I'm still swollen on my side,and I should know by tomorrow what the results are from my bone scan. I will keep you all posted on that.

patsy-I am so glad I switched doctor's. My old one didn't really care. Just his tone that he was giving me,it made me want to switch.

Well,I'm gonna go to bed real soon..I need to get my son up in the morning for school. I will talk to you all tomorrow,nite!

It's probably good you switched.  You won't get any help from a doctor who does not believe in your illness and won't listen to you.

Wonko-The doctor that I saw prescribed me with Naproxen for inflammation and vicodin for the pain. I went to work today and I'm exhausted..after not working for 11 years,i was worried. I was soo nervous today. I will work again tomorrow from 5-10p.m. tomorrow night. My rib is killing me..I told them about my rib and they said if it hurts then to tell them. They're soo nice there.

I heard now that the swine flu is now in Oregon close to where I live. I keep worrying about my kids..hopefully they don't get it. My kids are:9,5,and 3.

I'm soo tired. I wanted to tell you all that I finally switched doctor's. The doctor that I saw was on vacation alot and didn't listen to me. Hes the one that said"get it out of your head,you don't have lyme". I was mad,so I switched doctor's. I will talk to you all later!!

Did the doctor offer anything to treat the swelling and pain while you are waiting?  Hopefully you will be busy with the job training and able to distract yourself from the discomfort.

I still think it's lyme related even though my doctor says it's negative. My right ear is so bad I can barely hear out of it and it's ringing. Maybe the dark spots mean I have an infection from it. There's a round black spot in my head,some on my shoulder's,some in my stomach area and alot in my pelvic area. And the round spot on my head is on my right side..close to my ear. I'm upset with my doctor..hes gonna be gone until the 7th and so I won't know the results until then..argghh.it's aggravating. the wait is gonna be horrible. But I have some good news..I start training tomorrow for a job..it will be part time.maybe 16 hours a week. It's in town here so I can just walk to work and my mother'n'law and hubby will watch our kids. I wonder if the black spot on my pelvic area is because of my bladder. I've been having problems with it since last year. I get this pressure feeling and I tend to have accidents(I don't make it in time). I will keep you all posted..talk to you all later and ave a great day!

Thank you for responding..I had my scan done today and I'm a little worried. I won't know the results until thursday. They did a full bone scan and I saw 5 dark spots on the monitor. The guy was looking at it and ended up having someone else look at it also. My swelling has not gone away at all..it still looks bad. They ended up doing another 2 scans of my ribs. One spot was on my head,both shoulder's,stomach area and pelvic area..the rest was white(not sure what to think of that). I will let you all know the results when I get them. Thank you for responding. I have a bone scan scheduled for tomorrow morning. The swelling has gotten worse..it's up in my face(on the right side)now. I'm hoping this test will show whats wrong. I've been soo depressed and in tears because I don't know whats wrong and the pain is bad. I've just taken a pain pill so I will be going to bed soon. I will let you all know what they say when I get the results. You all have been soo wonderful and I will keep everyone updated. My husbands been getting upset because it's taken this long(since december)to get tests done. This test takes about 5 hours to do and I will be driving myself. My hubby will be here with our kids. He wants to stay away from me tomorrow because of the radiation,lol. I will talk to you all later,byee!!

sorry to hear you have a lot of pain - like wonko - I don't have any ideas of what may be wrong.
