Still NO 2nd Period After M/C... Please HELP!

I miscarried @ 7 1/2 weeks on Dec 10th naturally. On Jan 15th I got my period and it was a lil heavier then usual but other then that pretty normal. It is 2/28 and still no sign of a period. I've taken an at home preg test and it comes back negative (3 times).. Anyone have any experience with this or suggestions with whats going on with my body??? Is this normal to be irregular/ late like this after a miscarraige? Please help this is driving me crazy!! I can't find anything about this subject on the net...
Thanks for your help-
*sweetcaroline*

3/2 still no AF so i'm just waiting- wondering whats reallly going on- I guess i just assumed that everything would be pretty normal considering my period came back regular on Jan 15th- ( after m/c) but still no signs of it- only back aches-
If anyone has any other info please let me know!!!
I'm so glad i came across this site- it's nice to be able to talk with other women that have experienced the same feelings etc...

I had a miscarriage on Jan 24 at 10 weeks. I had a d and c done and did not have my first period until 6 weeks after. Now i am 3 days late for my second period.  I too am usually regular 28 days. My doctor said it is normal to have a few abnormal periods after a miscarriage and d and c.

Similar thing happened to me.  I m/c naturally in Oct. and waited 7 weeks for my 1st af.  Then next cycle I was about a week late.  Then got pregnant the cycle after that.  It seems like I've been reading a lot of posts were 2nd af after m/c is late.  Good luck to you!

Hello, I am sorry for your loss...As I miscarried @ 8 1/2 weeks on Sept 14th and had a D&C..but I was 13.5 weeks when i found out I lost my baby which was my first unltra sound too. and on Sept 23rd to Sept 29th I had some bleeding but nothing really heavy it was kinda like my period...and it was a lil lighter then usual but other then that pretty normal. and then in Oct.I had some light spotting off and on. and then again I had light bleeding in Nov.so my body was really messed up i guess.. so I went to the doc. on Nov 17th b.c i was feeling very tender and all so I thought I was PG and they done a test and told me YES I was PG again.but really I was`nt they told me a lie...it must have been from the left over HcG from b4...and the nurse said no this is 100% a new pregnancy..so I was hurt again..but I got a regular period in Dec.06 and then again in Jan 07 and now i am 5 days late and I am hoping i`m PG again.. so hopefully I helped a little I know I wrote alot so if you need anything else just ask and I`ll try and answer any thing I can... ~*~ Amanda ~*~

I think it's more common than we know. My 1st af after mc came a little late, not too bad. This month I've been waiting to ovulate and just got a positive opk on CD25. So that will make this cycle 40-42 days. I'm normally 26-28. I hope things get back to normal for you soon and I'm sorry for your loss.

I am sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage in October, my first AF came back exactly 24 days after the bleeding stopped and my numbers were at 0 (it was the same day) and my cycle used to be 24 days before. Then my second period was 7 days late. And after that period I got preggo again. How late are you? I know with this new pregnancy I didn't test positive until I was 4 days late because I ovulated late. Anyways, if you are close to a week late you should make an appt with your doctor so he/she can look you over and see whats going on. Maybe your cycle is still messed up from the mc?For some reason my SIL missed 3 periods and all of a sudden it just came again. Her doctor couldn't explain it she had ultrasounds done and everything, her doctor just said usually at least once in a womans cycle life they usually miss a period or two, and it usually is when the woman is TTC because of stress. Sorry, I'm not much help but that's all I can think of. Good luck, and baby dust!!!
