Your account settings are under the My MedHelp tab at the top of the page. I just checked and you are not blocking any users. And my inbox says that I was able to successfully send you a private message (you'll have to go to your Inbox link under the blue MedHelp menu bar to see if it actually got to your inbox).
I'm not sure why Margypops' note and private message didn't get through to you.
It's hard me to guess what the problem may be from the information you've given us. Can you borrow a friend's computer and log on and see if you can read or post notes?
I am computer illiterate. Where do I find settings?
I just tried her again neither her notes or PMs are working ..
If Margypops' suggestion doesn't work, reply here or use the Contact Us link and we'll double-check to make sure there's not a problem with your settings somewhere.
Okay ..... Acc Settings , Privacy, Send me a Private Message , click on that hit either evryone, or only friends ..its the same for notes ...all is cool
I just tried to pm you it didnt go through , so check you havent hit messages only from Friends , by mistake hang on all will be well, it'll get sorted out ..marg
I think this is a different question than the one you asked a couple of weeks ago about your blocking settings?
The block feature is intended to allow people to not receive private messages and contact from someone they feel they'd rather not talk to. Or perhaps the member is too busy to keep up with the forums they are following to carry on a conversation outside the forum.
So, you haven't been kicked off, it's probably just that the person you are trying to send a personal message to has chosen not to receive messages.
You should be able to post in the forums in the usual way, just like you were able to post in this discussion.
