Kids soccer
I just got back from my daughters soccer game ( i am assis coach).
WSe won 5-2.
It was awesome to see everything we did in practice really work and come together.
This has been an awesome thing to me.....Really has helped me to help kids and see how they look up to me and my brother in law (We are the coaches)

My son plays pee wee football with a pasion .. he lives all year just for football .. he is my only boy (almost 10) so this football was all new to me just last yr. (I have 3 girls ages 11, 15 & 17.5) and I have to admit that I enjoy it just about as much as he does ...... I get so excited on the sidelines!!!!
It's wonderful when parents donate their time for the kids .. sometimes they get an added bonus feeling good inside when they help others feel good about themselves!

i was a soccer mom for maaaaaaany years...and i miss it terribly!!!!!!!
my youngest son played select (traveling) soccer for the last 5 years that he played. we pretty much traveled every other weekend...year round. i think his involvement and committment to this team helped keep him on the straight and narrow, when so many of his good friends had too much time on their hands. while they were roaming the streets, looking for trouble...he was on a soccer field...either practicing or traveling.
way to go coolio...great sport...great dad!!!!!!

I think it is AWESOME when parents are active in their kids sports & activities. Sadly it is not so common anymore.
My nieces are both in soccer. The oldest will be 12 in Nov and she is in competitive soccer and they travel all over our state and the surrounding ones for tournaments. She is really good! Some may remember me bragging about her a few months ago when her team took 2nd in the state. The youngest who is 8 1/2 plays recreational soccer (i think that's what it's called) and she is pretty good but it's not her favorite thing. She is a piano player! A wonderful one at that!
