Stock market gives Obama's first month an "F"

Great reading by Liz Peak, says it all, the concerns that the stock market fell to 779 yesterday the lowest since 2002 ,its not onlt the rich people who own stocks,good point eventhe Homeless rely on the charities, and what about the pension plans., The piece that said Most Americans pay their mortgages,92% was quoted, why should they bail out their neighbours?  Good reading puts stuff and concerns into a perspective Thanks Barb

Yeah, 92% pay their mortgages and we who pay our mortgages every month we are expected to bail out the other 8%.

But hey, like Obama said to Joe the Plumber "we need to share the wealth".  Screw that!  Why should people who worked hard either working themselves up or went to College and got an education, why should they share "their so called wealth"??  Unless you won the lottery or inherited some wealth from a rich relative people worked hard for their "wealth".  

I was never jeleaus of rich people.  Most of them worked hard for it.  If it wasn't for rich people who buy the businesses most of us would not have jobs.  

Our son went 12 yrs to College, with a wife and raising 2 kids.  He worked himself through college, working 2-3 jobs at night, anywhere from Janitor, slinging hamburgers, and Pizza delivery all while he went to College.  Many nights with very little sleep or no sleep at all.  He is now a Ph.D., not exactly "wealthy" but he has a 6 figure yearly income, he WORKED HARD FOR IT.  Why should he have to "share" with others who chose another path???

I'm sick of Obama's welfare mentallity i.e. "you don't have to work hard, remember what a pitiful, helpless soul you are, nobody cares about you poor thing, but wait, there is "hope" the ones who worked hard I will make sure that they will share their wealth with you".  

Go ahead and buy that house you want, don't worry about tomorrow, I will bail you out, the other 92% of the suckers will pay for it.

How about taking some RESPONSIBILITY?????

You know lots of Obama supporters have no problem with Obama's government controlled welfare mentality, and some of them even say they would not mind to have a European socialism.  They have NO idea what they are talking about.  In Germany for example they pay 19% sales tax, up to 68% income tax, they have to pay $19.00 a month if they have a TV in the house whether they watch it or not, on top of that they still have got all the commercials.  They have to pay a tax to listen to radio, pay a church tax.  The government over there has devices which check for cable lines to see if people are watching TV and are not paying their $19.00 a month, if caught they get a very stiff fine.

I don't know about German healthcare now a days but in England there are waiting lists.  Sometimes long waiting lists yet over here some people have a fit if they have to wait one month to get an appointment.

I heard the other day on TV that Obama's health system suggests that one doctor should do everything in other words no referrals anymore to Specialists unless its a life threatening situation.  There is no way I would trust everything to one GP.

I heard doctors saying "there is no way in hell I will settle for government pay, I paid for my medical school, and worked to hard to settle for government pay".  I don't blame them.

One doctor told me that Nationalized Healthcare will never happen because of many different reasons.  We'll see.

The waiting lists on the healthcare system are horrendous,you could be waiting for an operation and die waiting In the UK everyone I know in England and my family tell me it doesnt work and they are scared of having to wait that long for surgery..now if its a matter of meds and seeing a Doctor its a shorter time say a couple of weeks!

margy your right may will disagree but people wait for along time for surgeries..in place that have heathcare provided for all...why do so many canadians go to detroit for surgery,??easy its quick.
