Anyone no much about computers?

On one of my computers I have to put a password in order to get on it. I no its the right password but when I got up this morning to log on it this is what pops up after putting the correct password.   the user profile Service service failed the logon.user profile cannot be loaded. So I tried to put the wrong password to see what it would say and it said   Incorrect password       Any clue what or how I can get on my computer?

Here is the MS kb article on this error. This is a highly technical fix, you have to boot into safe mode (the article suggests using the admin account, but safe mode is better). If you aren't really handy with computers, you might have a windows expert look at it.

Anecdotally, some people report that this fix does not work, however, its complicated enough that it is difficult to tell if it really doesn't work or if they just did it wrong.
