Anyone ever try Monavie??

My brother-in-law is a distributor, and I had been talking to my sister about my peri-menopause symptoms lately.  She gave me a bottle of Monavie, and said, just try it.  According to her, it has helped w/her hot flashes, sleep patterns, and energy.  She says she just generally feels better.

I am really into anything natural, but just wondering has anyone else tried it, and/or still uses it.

No one can stop any of us from telling our own experiences. I don't have achy knees at night anymore and I am full of energy. I feel great! I am down 20 pounds, likley from the extra energy. My periods only last 3 days and maybe you need help in that area. Co-incidence? Maybe but I have been on it since April 5/2011 and I have a great team, 25 people under me and I have all my money back and I am drinking the juice for free. So, I guess I am one of the 1%, but no I am not really at all if you look at it correctly. Recheck your numbers friend. Under 1% is not all that make ANY money, that is all that makes the top money. If you look at the Income disclosure statement 2009 you will see 49% are making enough money that they are drinking the juice for free plus some. That 49% makes up to  $30,000/yr. I think that is well worth. You should try MonaVie, it is full of B vitamins  : )

And I'm sure consumers deserve better than to invest in a grossly overpriced and nutritionally void fruit juice in the hope of a placebo effect.

Your lack of ethics and warped sense of logic is truly astounding.

What the??!! You can't make the claim that Monavie doesn't cure anything but then go ahead and make the health claims that you just did!!!!

Monavie Policies and Procedures specifically states:

2.1.6. I will be truthful in my representation of MonaVie Products and make no claims regarding the health benefits of MonaVie Products that violate the law.

2.1.15. I will abide by all of MonaVie’s Policies and Procedures.

2.3.8. Unethical Activity. You agree to be ethical and professional at all times when conducting your MonaVie Distributorship…Examples of unethical activities include, but are not limited to the following, some of which are further described in these P&Ps:

2.3.8.1. Making unapproved claims about the Product;

2.3.8.3. Making false statements or misrepresentation of any kind, including but not limited to…performance of the Products;

4.1.1 Product Claims. You may make claims about the Products that are in the Official MonaVie Materials of the country for which it is approved. You shall not make claims about the Product that are not in the Official MonaVie Materials.

Monavie’s own literature confirms that Monavie (nor any of it’s ingredients) does not treat, cure or mitigate the symptoms of any disease and condition and distributors such as yourself are NOT allowed to use terms or phrases that suggest same.
http://monavieuniversity.zaah.net/?s=fruit+juice+products

By claiming that Monavie (a highly processed and chemically preserved FRUIT JUICE) can treat, cure or mitigate the symptoms of "muscular issues, energy level, insomnia, migraine, arthritis, to diabetes and leuchemia on my 3 year old niece (now in remission, on Monavie since 02/2010) and even methadone withdrawal process", you are breaching company policy by making such unapproved claims, breaking the law (namely, the FTC guidelines, as well FDA regulations) and thus conducting yourself in an unethical manner also.

You should familiarise yourself with the FTC guidelines concerning online testimonials which states you are NOT allowed to post testimonials where such results cannot be evidenced as being what one would typically expect.
http://monaviemediacenter.com/blogs/5-tips-every-monavie-distributor-needs-to-know-about-the-new-ftc-guidelines/

Post your distributor ID# as your company requires you also - that way we can forward your claims to Monavie, FDA and FTC for verification of same!

You are a disgrace and the epitomy of why this atrocious company and it's representatives need to be stopped - you are attempting to mislead consumers about their health for your own ill-gotten financial gain.

Berries1947 - it is not failure to avoid participating in a pyramid marketing scam where illegal and fraudulent health claims are made in order to promote the products and where greater than 99% of the entire sales force are losing money. Furthermore, it's not failure to attempt to provide consumers with truthful and accurate information to enable them to make a fully informed decision about their health rather than have them make decisions based on wrongful and unlawful information provided by an ill-informed and greedy distributor who's only concern is making money.

I have provided ample evidence that Monavie is a bogus product. You can't even make the claim that it is natural considering it is chemically preserved with sodium benzoate, which causes cancer when combined with vitamin C.

Again, promotion of an MLM and MLM marketing hype have no place in a forum such as this.

Sounds like frog got in, did not work, got out and now needs an excuse for
his failure. Systems work when people work. He should not blame anyone else for his lack of faith or effort. I bet he voted for Obama and is in favor
of the health care bill. True reform comes from within. I am sure his mother would be ashamed.

As convincing and sharp as you may want to be, sadly you are also giving bad and misleading info.  Regardless of what you are trying to accomplish by giving Monavie a bad reputation... You will never change the positive results on myself (consumer, don't sell or get any other benefit than better health), my loved ones and many other people that I know ...TRUE AND HONEST TESTIMONIES going from muscular issues, energy level, insomnia, migraine, arthritis, to diabetes and leuchemia on my 3 year old niece (now in remission, on Monavie since 02/2010) and even methadone withdrawal process (my nephew - within 1 wk)... As everybody is different, except for me, not necessarily everyone I know might have gotten results from taking just one bottle, but within a month time...definitely great, I haven't heard anything negative from not even 1 person.
MONAVIE, as any other Natural product will not claim that treats or cures anything (it's simply a Juice) and although as you say "eat fruits", the reality is that we don't eat them and as a result, I'm sure u know what happens to our body cells...
You will never change the positive results on real people that have gotten real and life changing results... Save your rage and your passion towards something harmful.  If someone else can benefit, even if it was by "faith"... why not? and why would it bother you so much?

Holly, this is a forum where people are looking for genuine and real advice and help concerning their health.

Firstly, Monavie is nothing more than FRUIT JUICE - so logic would tell you that you could expect that any perceived benefits could be obtained by simply eating fresh fruit.

If you were to take your own advice, you would see that Monavie states specifically that the product does not treat, cure or mitigate the symptoms of ANY disease or condition - distributors such as yourself and Beck's brother-in-law and sister are breaching company policy and breaking the law by claiming or insinuating otherwise.

http://monaviemediacenter.com/blogs/5-tips-every-monavie-distributor-needs-to-know-about-the-new-ftc-guidelines/

For your lack of information, a serving of Monavie Original and Active offer a daily value of 2% vitamin C, 2% iron and 1% carbohydrates and Pulse offers 3% carbohydrates, 2% fat, 1% fibre, 4% vitamin A and 2% iron - which is hardly what anyone could consider remotely nutritious and there's nothing contained within Monavie to account for the health claims being made.
http://www.blackdiamonduniversity.com/pdf/monavie-products.pdf
http://www.blackdiamonduniversity.com/training-MonaVie-Pulse-facts.asp

No human clinical trials have been conducted in order to verify the existence of any health benefits associated with the products - I challenge you to find one and provide us with the link.

There is however the availability of Monavie’s own Dr Schauss’ study concerning Monavie who reports “The total antioxidant capacity of the JB measured by ORAC is 22.8 μmol TE/mL” and “total phenolics 1.48” (mg GAEa/mL of juice).
http://www.aibmr.com/resources/pdfs/anti-inflammatory-juice-blend8.pdf

With an ORAC score of 2698 and phenolics totalling 175mg in a days serving of Monavie, the nutritional value of Monavie can be derived from eating half of an ordinary red delicious apple. That is, if you’re prepared to overlook the issue of sodium benzoate which Monavie is preserved with and the price of Monavie which retails for $45 a bottle.

Finally, let's also talk about the founder of Monavie, Dallin Larsen who was previously the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Dynamic Essentials which was shut down by the FDA, had their remaining inventory destroyed and was issued a $2million fine for making fraudulent and illegal disease cure claims concerning the last juice he was promoting, Royal Tongan Limu.

Dallin Larsen himself made the fraudulent and illegal health claims concerning Royal Tongan Limu and here's a recording as proof of same.
web.archive.org/web/20020205212919/63.167.229.232/deistream/conf020128.wma

And one certainly can't help but notice that bar the name, Royal Tongan Limu was IDENTICAL to Dallin's Monavie - limu discovered in a remote location (Tonga), promoted as having super antioxidant capacity, 2oz twice daily, packaged in wine bottles, similarly priced, marketed through an MLM and similar illegal health claims made to that currently being made by Monavie distributors concerning Monavie.

Holly, this is not the right forum for you to promote an MLM scam such as Monavie. I recommend you go back and do your "due diligence" and find a more appropriate site to promote your business.

svanover - I haven't heard of the product personally but I'll take a look at it now.

Wow I can't beleive how misinformed you are about monavie. go to  to get some real answers. If you are not doing the work you are not getting results in business. Monavie puts millions of dollars into researching there products. Many people have negative oppinions but go to the sourc for answers. I know many who have been helped by this product and we can only make claims that are legal. This company is one with integrity, with people who want to make a difference in peoples health and wealth not rip them off.

Sorry Beck but Monavie is not the answer - you see, Monavie does not treat, cure or mitigate the symptoms of any disease or condition (as per the company literature). No studies have ever been undertaken which confirm there are any health benefits associated with being "on the juice" and I'm sure if there were any, the company would have funded the trials which confirm this.

Nutritionally, Monavie Original and Active offer a daily value of 2% vitamin C, 2% iron and 1% carbohydrates and Pulse offers 3% carbohydrates, 2% fat, 1% fibre, 4% vitamin A and 2% iron - hardly what anyone could remotely consider being either nutritious or having the ability to account for the bogus health claims being reported by your brother in law and sister. In fact, the health claims they are making are both in breach of company policy and the law.

Furthermore, Monavie is far from "natural" - it's a highly processed fruit juice preserved with the chemical sodium benzoate which is considered as being a carcinogen (cancer causing) when combined with vitamin C. If fruit had the ability to cure anything (and Monavie is nothing more than fruit juice), then you'd be able to get the same benefits from eating fresh fruit, yeah?

I have tried it before researching this scam and I can confirm it did nothing.

Unfortunately, your brother-in-law are caught up in a pyramid marketing scam - the absurd health claims are required to justify the exorbitant price of the juice (which will cost you in the vicinity of $40 per bottle) however it's not value for money you're getting, the price of the product has to support the inflated compensation plan.

Do yourself a favour by saving your money and looking for genuine ways of improving your health - eat fresh fruit, exercise more and stay away from MLM scams such as Monavie so as to preserve both your relationships.
