Do these sound like hot flashes?

Lately I've been feeling like I'm burning up inside. Like I have a fever but I don't. I asked my Dr about it and she said it could be hot flashes. I'm 62 and had a complete historectomy about 25 yrs ago.
I thought hot flashes were mostly like in the face. This feels like my whole body is on fire - inside - like a fever. But I don't have a fever. My husband said he can feel the heat radiating off of my body.
Does this sound like hot flashes or something a little more serious? Should I talk to my Dr again about it? I have another appointment in two weeks.

Also, I get a little nausea and feel like I have the flu - but I don't.
I'm tired all the time and when I get up, I feel like a truck drove over me. I ache all over.

Thanks

Definitely give your dr a detailed description of ALL your symptoms. If you're feeling fluish and like a truck ran over you, it's very important to rule out a number of other conditions with a thorough exam and bloodwork.

Thank you for your reply. Sometimes I sweat, sometimes I don't. I talked to my sister who has fibromyalgia and she has these too. So that could be a possiblilty too. I will mention it to my Dr when I go. Thanks again

Do you also perspire when you have that "burning up inside" feeling?
And, along with being "tired all the time," are you also having a hard time sleeping?
This, as well as the symptoms that you mentioned, sound like Menopause.
My mom is 80, and was in her early 40s when she had a hysterectomy...
and she still has occasional hot flashes and fever-like sweats.
But, mention your symptoms to your doctor, anyway.
