I am a 54 year old post-menopause woman  has always had trouble with my 2 softball sized  fibrods... cramping and bleeding so bad that I would have to wear several adult diapers together at night and sometimes during the day!!  they all so caused me to seek a doctors help with UTI's when it turned out it was only the fibrods pressing on my bladder...well now its been at least a year with no period...I just returned from overseas with a terrible UTI that was tested and cleared up with my doctor having me take cipro ...I was over the terrible backaches and stomach pains and feeling good again when out of nowhere I start to have bladder pressure again (not as bad as before) and postmenopause bleeding...have been to the hospital where I was examined and they found the blood coming from the uterus and of course the fibrods...my obgyn did the pelvic and said uterus was soft and moveable but full with the fibrods....more test to come..t-vaginal ultrasound..had one a little over a year ago so she could check out the fibrods...I am a bit crampy ..mild...and do not bleed enough to wear a pad,,,,.But I am VERY scared that I do have cancer...please any words would mean so much..thank you

Fibrods can be benign or maglinant. You won't know until it is removed and tested.  So do not be overly worried.  In fact I met a women who has large fibroids and she told me that doctor said they would shrink at post menopause.  Doctor ask her to remove her uterus but she decided to keep it and hoping that the fibroid would shrink.   As for postmenopause bleeding, I did experience it twice two years after I entered menopause.  Did a D & C the other day and still waiting for the result.  You are not alone in this.
