Painful sex and anxiety

Is it possible to have continued pain with inercourse despite the use of lubricants. It seem as though the opening itself has narrowed. How can you correct that? I also have vaginal itching. Is it because of the split tissue after sex?  I also seem to have anxiety like symptoms just before hot flashes. Is there a connection? Can anyone shed some light on this for me. Thanks ahead of time for any help

Since having my ovaries removed menopause has hit me hard,  I have hot flushes a lot and sex has become very painful even with lubricants,  because I had breast cancer and  two cancer causing genes  my ovaries were removed and I am not to use any sort of hrt.  therefor my vagina have become dry and uncomfortable. and sex is something to dread  I also have intching most likley because of the dryness in what is suppose to be a moist, warm place.  I have looked these symtoms up and they are part of menopause and or vaginitus.

Are you taking HRT?  Talk to your OBGYN and estrogen cream may be all you need.
