Period pains age 60 without loss of blood?

I am 60 years old and have not had a period since 1991.  Over the past few months I have started to get bad period pains and cramps which effect my hip joints too. The period pains start a week before the end of the month and continue for at least 7 to 10 days after. I feel as though i should bleed but I have a clear discharge instead. I have never taken any HRT.

Thanks, Sandy

Drop by and see your doctor.  It might have something to do with the parts of the brain that affect the hormonal functions of the body.  Adrenal gland, hypothalmus, I don't know.  But the doc might, or could send you to an endocrinologist or other specialist.
