Wierd sensations on BHRT

Hi there I have just started on Estrogel one pump a day and a 2% Natural progesterone cream one pump a day, I have had my blood checked and my Estrogen is low and the tests showed I was in Menopause. I am 53 years old I had a partial Hysterectomy 18 years ago. I have been also diagnosed with Gerd and take prevacid for that twice a day. I have several Menopause symptoms and this is why the doctor put me on BHRT after a lengthy discussion about the ins and outs. Anyway I have been on the BHRT for exactly one week and I take both doses just before bed, last night I was having the wierdest sensations after getting into bed, both arms were sort of tingling warm my chest felt like it was filled up with air it was hard to breathe and I was having major anxiety over all of this wondering if this was being caused by the hormones I was awake till well after 2 am and made several trips to the bathroom mainly because of the anxiety I also take ativan .5mg twice a day for the Gerd it helps my Esophagus from spasms did nothing to help me last night. I am still having some of this feeling now as I sit at my desk at work, Is it possible this is caused from the Hormones I am going to start taking them in the am instead of the pm to see if this makes a difference I have to get some sleep, it is getting ridiculous. Please answer, any suggestions would help. Should I try taking Melatonin to see if it helps? Thanks Colleen
