adrenal fatigue

I was wondering if you have heard of adrenal fatigue? What are the symptoms and how can it be treated?

I   am 42. Had a surgery in 2000. I have a factor 2 mutation and have had several blood clots. Is it safe for me to take Estroven? I have never been able to use birth control due to my condition. But, I am at the end of my rope.

I've been told by the acupuncturist that my adrenals are depleted and this is related to my surgical menopause and stress, have been suffering for over a decade since my surgery, but never really knew what was the reason for feeling crappy and have started learning through places like this!  I have fibromyagia, panic attacks, weakness, shakiness, dizzy head, heart racing and chest pain, etc.  Holistic medicine can help you do better, our GP doctors don't have time to get into the complex reasons for feeling unwell.  I get some relief from chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, and good nutrition and exercise.  But it has a lot to do with managing stress, which I've had a lot of!  I am a perfectionist, Type A, which makes it worse, and with a hormonal deficiency I need to take more supplements, like vitamin b complex, vitamin c, calcium &magnesium, vitamin d, and e, and flax/fish oils, etc. I use bio-identical estrogen too, but need to up the dose a little and maybe add a bit of testosterone.

Adrenal fatigue usually happens when your are stressed out for a long period of time. There can be all kinds of symptoms.  You just never feel good.  I was tested for it by my doctor because I have had  some major events happen in the last two years and now I feel lousy all of the time.  the blood tests I had done came back ok, but I just don't feel good.  Lots of nausea all of the time.
