menopause

i am 32 i have had irregular periods every since i started at age 11. i am 32 now and i may have a regular period for a couple of months and the4n i may skip a month sometimes i will go for one week sometimes two or three but the last one i had was for two months. i tremble sometimes sometimes i get hot sometimes i get cold. i have also had the crying out of nowhere. i have asked my doctor if i cold be going through menopause he told me the symptoms i have been experiencing could be but he also told me i was too young. i guess my question is am i too young at age 32 to be going through perimenopause? and are these symptoms related.

Hi
I am 36 and i have been having trouble with heavy and prolonged periods for a few years now, I have been back and forth to the docs as i have other syptoms as well (weight gain, tearfullness etc) My doctor literally laughed in my face when i mentioned the menopause!! I eventually had a scan and was told that evertyhing looked fairly normal but i had the beginings of fibroids. I have been on iron tablets for 3 years now because i am anemic and have just been prescribed the pill (which still has not sorted me out!!) I have been tested for thyroid and the results came back at the accepted level, however i have got a multinodular goitre. What would it take to do a simple blood test to find out if i am pre menopausal?
It is not so uncommon for women under 45ish to be menopausal (i know of several people this has happened to!!)
I don't know where you come from but not so long ago i was at the supermarket and i saw a kit which is exactly like a pregnancy test but this particular one can tell you whether you are entering menopause and is 99% accurate!! All you do is urinate on the stick! It is a bit pricey(about

Have you discussed these issues with your gynocologist? Has the GYN taken any tests?  Sonograms, hormone levels?

While is not impossible to go into menopause at such a young age, there could also be other medical conditions causing these problems that may have very simple fixes.

I feel that if I have a problem with my tooth, I will see a dentist, a problem with my heart it would be a cardiologist..a problem with my period, it would be a gynocologist.
