why is my period like this

Hello everyone. I have another big question. Okay since I started my period for the first time it only last for 3 or 4 days. Well since my love an I have been trying to get me pregnant the last 2 periods isn't normal. Last month in April the Friday before Easter I started it showed it was pinkish like always so I knew I was on my period. Well I use tampons n I used one when it was time to change it I did there wasn't really nothing on it but BROWNISH looking blood. I thought it was scary said no big deal put a new one in hours later won't b nothing on. So him n I made love an my period came out like crazy but brownish almost black. Didn't freak but this month I started it started brown n not really nothing come out unless I whipped so I didn't wear nothing this month because it only showed when I used the restroom. Can anyone tell me why my period is acting up like this

Have you taken a pregnancy test? I know when I was pregnant that happened to me. I also had a full period when I was about 2 months pregnant with my 2nd child. Also, when I was getting my period, sometimes it would start out dark brown, light pink, and end the same way. I would try a pregnancy test. There are ones out there now that can detect pregnancy before your period is even due. Good luck.
