Blackish red and painless lump on groin.

Hello, I'm an 18 year old male that has suddenly noticed a sort of blackish red and painless lump in the upper left of my groin. It was hard, unmoving and bled alot when I accidentally cut into it. When I cut it and let it bleed a bit before cleaning it up, it reduced in size. Could this lump just be filled with blood or could it he something troublesome?

Hello, it is probably nothing to worry about, but if you are concerned, then it would be wise to ask you GP.

Most lumps in the groin are either cysts, hernias or swollen lymph nodes. Yours is black and red? That sounds like a vein. We also have these in that area. Saphena varix is caused by swelling of the saphenous vein that passes through your groin. That's my guess for what is going on. It's like a varicose vein. If it sticks around and bothers you, you can do  Endovenous ablation to get rid of it. Show it to your doctor at your next physical.
