I'm a male, having a constant dull aching pain my groin region for the last 2 years. The constant left groin pain radiates all the way down to the left feet. The pain also radiates to testes and penis, which hurts a lot and causing lot inconvenience to me. Several diagnosis by different specialists, many medications, but the pain doesn't seem to go.
When I visited Orthopedics, 2 MRIs - Clear and Normal. No Neuropathy, MS, etc.. No nerve impingement, other than the L5-S1 disc bulge.
But during a ultrasound, it revealed a very mild swelling (adenopathy) in the left inguinal region. Perhaps this could be the reason for the pain.
The urologists ruled out of any infection or diseases after several tests. They ruled out Epididymitis, Prostatitis, etc..
As there is mild swelling, I really doubt it is not CPPS as well.
I think if it is an infection, we get symptoms of fever, chills, etc.. But I never had any of those for several years.
I'm perfectly healthy other than this constant nagging pain in the groin. Morever, can any infection stay persistent in the groin without cleaning up? Wont it manifest? Since I din't have those, this is making me think it is not an infection?
If not can this be an injury due to excessive running, and not healing for years?
Someone please let me know what this could be. I'm really baffled, and this pain changed my life a lot.
