GGT and CDT levels

Is there an article or study that looks at the rate of GGT and CDT
decrease in African Americans? I'm asking because I read a study that I
believe indicates that African Americans tend to have a higher "normal" GGT
than whites. I'm also asking because even after abstience of 4 weeks, my
GGT level is 125. I ended up getting in trouble with the Air Force because
my GGT and CDT levels weren't dropping "fast enough" according to them,
indicating that I was still "abusing alcohol." I know I'm still drinking
(on this risk reduction plan I am able to drink) but I'm concerned that I'm
being judged against a statistical model that my physiology doesn't "fit".
