I have a discoloured area in groin

I have a picture   http://i64.tinypic.com/256aiwx.jpg
this area was very sore and blistered probably 8-12 months ago. Have kind of forgotten about it but there is still a marking there although no sore blister.

Had seen an sti clinic probably 6 months ago and i dont recall if the doctor saw this during inspection, however he did full rounds of tests and I came out clean. Thank you.

Also another question my private area is rather itchy and has been on occasion for years what should i do?

No pic. But tiny url? :) Someone probably reported it. If you are STD free, then I would not worry. Ask at your next regular Dr apt. That area stays warm and moist, so marks can remain for a very long time. Unless it is painful, do not worry. Itching is likely from dried sweat. Try some powder, or wear moisture wicking underwear, boxer briefs or briefs. Standard boxers and commando will not pull the sweat away from your body. Was the original blistering from chafing or some type of injury?
