Hi,
How are you? Are there other symptoms present? It is possible that the headache is caused by musculoskeletal, vascular or neurological issues. There are also many factors to consider including the medical history, age, the muscle involved and its insertion and the results of the physical examiantion. If rest, ice pack and pain medications do not help, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. Diagnostic tests such as Ct scan may help with the diagnosis. Take care and regards.
