Crippling headache no explanation
I've ha a crippling headache for 7 days. Had CT scan-clear, spinal tap-negative. No meds from Tylenol to morphine has caused complete relief. I've no history of migraines and basic blood work has come back normal. I'm desperate I can't take the pain any longer.

Hi,
How are you? What other symptoms are present? Can you elaborate on the character or duration and of the headache? It is good that initial diagnostic test  results such as the CT scan, spinal tap and blood work  were all fine. This may suggest primary headaches such as tension, cluster or migraine headaches.  A referral to a neurologist may help. If prescription medications do not help, further evaluation and complementary medicine may also help. Take care and do keep us posted.
