Stabbing pain on left hand side of head
I dont get headaches.  I have just recently been feeling as though I have a head cold, but only in so much as my eyes  and nose feel feel different.

I am getting only occasionally a sharp pain accross the side of my head on the left hand side 3 inches above my ear, which is not very nice.

I have no other symptoms.  Is this something to concern me or can it be caused via a cold.  What other sypmptoms would I get if it was serious enough to see the GP?

Hi,

Yes, common cold, stress, lack of sleep, anxiety and stress can cause stabbing pains on one side of the head. I would suggest you to take mild pain killer like Tylenol do some deep breathing exercises and take rest for a couple of days. Make sure you are well hydrated and eat on time. Hopefully these symptoms will subside in a day or two.

Good luck!
