Hi,
How are you? As Eddie1994 mentioned, migraine headaches usually are managed by both abortive and preventive medications prescribed by your doctor. Over-the-counter pain medications may lead to rebound headache if taken excessively. Rest, ice pack, biofeedback therapy and avoidance of headache triggers may also help. Take care and do keep us posted.

I do hope you are consulting a Doctor, especially a Neurologist.  There are prescription medications that can help abort a migraine and control nausea.  We have found that most over the counter medicines are not helpful.
