head

i woke a couple of days ago and turn my head to the right and felt a tightness and a crackin sound in my head. ive been having head pain since then and when i turn my head to the right its very painful. what you think that is?

There is a possibility that you may have sprained your neck, it occurs due to stretching of soft tissues and muscles of head and neck. I would suggest you to take rest gently massage the affected area of head and neck, apply ice packs and take OTC antiinflammatories. Most of the symptoms of neck sprain ease in few weeks time. If there is no improvement in symptoms it is important to get a clinical evaluation done.
