Headache from stress or hypochondria or serious?

I'm a 25 year old white male. 6' 165lbs and in decent shape.

I have practically no medical history although I'm starting to diagnose myself as a hypochondriac (which is odd considering I hardly ever see the doctor).

I was feeling fine the other day and then learned my uncle was diagnosed with ALL leukemia. Since then I've been experiencing mild tension on the top/back of my head as well as occasional lack of focus. For example, I've noticed myself avoiding looking people in the eye a little bit.

Of course, as a worrier, I'm fearing a tumor since I hardly ever have headaches. But I can't help but think this is stress related.

It's been three days. I'd say there's been no worsening but no improvements either. Showers seem to help a little and sleep is OK.

Any ideas?

Stress certainly can cause headaches. Try breathing exercises and some light excercise. Feel better!!

A mild tension on the top/back of your head for the past 3 days doesn't sound like a tumor or even anything to see a doctor about.  If it gets worse or lasts a lot longer, then you could consider seeing a doctor.  But I wouldn't worry about it.  I've been following these websites for a long time and you're the first person I've told not to worry about it.  You might instead consider getting therapy for your understandable reaction to your uncle.  That would probably be your best medicine.
