I cant live like this anymore!

I am a 23 y/o female who does not drink or smoke. I am physically fit. I get extremely painful migraines with visual disturbances. I recently had a migraine episode that made me very sick to my stomac, causing me to vomit. I took an excedrine, but it did nothing to help. I got into a lukewarm bath to help calm my body. Moments later my boyfriend found me losing consciousness, slumped over in the tub. He pulled me out and I regained consciousness, but I was very confused. I have passed out before with migraines but this time my boyfriend forced me to go to the ER. I had a CT scan, blood and urine tests... Everything came back great. My headache lasted for for four days and I was in the hospital for three. They gave me all kinds of pain medication that didn't even touch my headache. I walked away from the hospital with the same headache, no answers, and a 400 dollar copay. Does anyone else experience migraine with aura and syncopal episodes? If so, what information have you received from doctors? Some other symptoms I experience during migraine are tingling in hands and feet for up to 13 hours, headaches that will last up to 6 days with no relief, and cardiac arrhythmia.

Thanks for the suggestion, my homeopath gave me magnesium glycinate but that is ok for people with a migraine who do not suffer from a high pressure coming from the hydrophaelus. It does help a bit, I am more concerned now about my being able to walk than the headaches.
However you are the first that mentioned magnesium so ty for caring.
Keep well

So sorry to hear about your severe migraines.  I would consult another neurologist or better yet a headache specialist.  There are many other treatments besides pain pills, such as accupucture, nerve block, trigger point and Botox injections.  Don't give up.

I have been on magnesium glycinate for over three years now and have not had one migraine. Before that I had one every two weeks.

Hi ,
Heck yes, I live with migraines for most of my life. Since I was twelve yrs of age. When you get those kinds of headaches try eating a banana or two. The banana for some reason helps with the impaired vision. It contains potasium. Which at that moment the body is screaming out to have!
Go to a specialist in the homeopathic circle to see if your neck is out of line, or any parts of your spine. They can test for vitamine deficiencies that you are probably lacking.
If they did an MRI without using contrast fluid they will not be able to detect the slipped discs in the back or neck.

Everyone says dont go to a chiropractor but our family has been going to them from ever since I can remember because we have inheritted the slipped disc from my father's side of the family.
It is passed on threw the gene's
Frankly I would have rather inheritting some  money and skip this.
to be able to keep up with the medical bills.

How are your boules? If they are not functioning properly this can also lead to headaches. For this you should take Colon Clean it is the best medicine ever for this problem. It is homeopathic so the doctors do not prescribe it . They dont both with that because it is not in their feild.
Make sure you drink at least two liters of liquid a day ! which should be water if you can 2 . Eat pasta''s without the sauces. rice and beans and all the vegetables you like. Do not eat potatoes. You may eat sweet potatoes because that is a root not like the potatoe. Potatoes are not very good for the digestive system. Avoid eating chocolate. Stay away from too much fatty foods.
Dont drink too much melk. buttermilk is better or soya milk

Good Luck God Bless
