Doctor: Please read, I have a constant headache and a bone tumor

Hi, I really hope that someone here would be able to comment further than "talk to your treating physician".
I'm a 30 yr old male with a left supraorbital bone tumor.  It's 3.5 x 2.4 cm and remains unchanged since its discovery 3 years ago.  Here are some MRI images:

http://robsaysrelax.googlepages.com/home

I would like to see if you could tell me your best guesses simply based on the info I've given.
My clinical exam is totally normal...Cranial nerves, dilated eye exam, visual fields,  and the rest of my MRI is apparently normal except for this tumor.
I also had a Nuclear Bone Scan which demonstrated "intense focal uptake" just at the site of this particular lesion.

My symptoms have been constant headache (pressure) x 5 years, seriously worsening 3 years ago.
Most recently, I feel like I may faint (depersonalization, faintness, anxiety) most of the time actually, due to so much pressure in my head, but I've never actually fainted.   I had a cardiac workup just in case, and it was normal.  I also experience brief 5-10 second episodes of very intense depersonalization and confusion, to where people's voices sound unintelligible and I am very confused with extreme anxiety, but still somehow maintain some control.
Could this I describe be a possible sign of seizure from this supraorbital brain compression?

Basically, I'm asking generally...What have I described that is consistent with this tumor?  (constant head pressure, depersonalization syndrome, brief attacks of confusion and severe anxiety).

Any other comments?
Thanks for you time.

Vanessa and everyone,

I thank you very much for your response.  I have re loaded the images on my webpage and it should be working now.

About the depersonalization, it feels exactly as if I am constantly breathing nitrous oxide (dental gas).   In fact, I recently had a cavity filled, and within 3 seconds of administering the laughing gas, I blacked out in the dental chair.

I did have an EEG 3 years ago, although my symptoms of derealization weren't nearly as bad then.      however, there was only some vague mention of "delta wave slowing"   but the test was reported as normal to me.

I thank you again for your response any further thoughts.

This will definitely help to calm you down and start to control your symptoms after 2 days, and you will be able to live normally.
You need to help your body to build up your immune system. The breathing exercises - pranayam is a holistic approach creating extra oxygen supply in the body and will slowly help with the health problem.Do the pranayam to see the benefits.Build up your timing slowly and after two weeks at the suggested duration you will start to notice benefits.

Bhastrika - Take a long deep breath into the lungs(chest not tummy) via the nose and then completely breathe out through the nose.Duration upto 5 minutes.

Kapalbhati -(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for upto 30 minutes twice a day.(Max 60 min/day) Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently.

Anulom Vilom - Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 20 to 30  minutes twice a day(maximum 60 minutes in one day).
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Bhramri Pranayam -Close eyes. Close ears with thumb, index finger on forehead, and rest three fingers on base of nose touching eyes. Breathe in through nose. And now breathe out through nose while humming like a bee.
Duration : 5 to 10 times
----
Only by doing you will benefit and will feel good that you can do something to help the body.Copy and print this to master the technique. This is  simplified pranayam for everyone and you do not have to go to classes to learn. This is for life unlike short term classes where you do it in the class then stop when classes are over.

Hi

I think the constant head pressure may be a consistent symptom of any cranial tumor. I can not seem to access the images. However, based on your description, the tumor is found on the supraorbital portion of the bone. If this is a bone, then headaches may be experienced in nearby areas such as over the yes and other parts of the head. An increase in intracranial pressure is ruled out here since your neurological examinations did not give any significant findings.

With regards to depersonalization, this has been associated with temporal lobe stimulation. The temporal lobe is the area found on the sides of the cerebrum or the main part of the brain. I do not think the temporal lobe is involved here but factors like extreme stress and panic disorders may present with depersonalization. Anxiety is a condition you are experiencing now because of current stressors.

Was a baseline EEG done to rule out seizures?
