Three years ago a metal shelf fell on my head while working in retail and gave me a bulging disc (c3), a concussion, and a sprained neck. It has been three years and I still am experiencing headaches and spasms in my neck. I have tried muscle relaxers, painkillers, chiropractic treatment, physical therapy, cervical epidural, and accupuncture and have had very limited success in dealing with the pain. The only treatment that gave me any sustained relief was the epidural. I have been treated by a chiropractor recently and he says my headaches shouldnt be caused by the bulging disc and that I am probably experiencing tension headaches since my headache is where the base of the skull meets the neck on the right side of my head. Does anyone know if this sounds like tension headaches or are they another kind? I have had very few headache free days in the last three years and would love it if someone could please help me out and tell me what kind of headaches these are and what kind of treatment should I seek. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Ryan
