Silent Migraine

About 9 months ago I started to have a light headed feeling I started to see depth in things without depth also had a feeling of vertigo. I now have nystagmus in my eyes. I was originally diagnosed with a vestibular disorder after a caloric test. I then had a rotational test and my diagnosis was changed to Migraines I don’t have headaches and have hardly ever have.  Although my balance is better my vision and Nystagmus has been constant and prevented me from driving now for 9 months. I also have walking instability at times and constantly have residual images.  I have also had an MRI with and with out contrast nothing found.  Could I realy have a 9 month silent migraine that has caused all this could some one help me with this. Thanks

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? Are there other symptoms present?  It is good that the MRI result was fine. The symptoms of silent migraine include any of the typical signs and symptoms of a migraine, but without the pain. It can last for weeks to months and varies from one person to another. It is best that you have this checked by your neurologist for proper management. Prescription medications may be indicated. Like any migraine, a headache journal or the migraine tracker in this forum is important to identify the triggers that could make it worsen. Take care and do keep us posted.
