temporalis muscles

A few days ago i went to united states and went to a mall. I went to the electonics store and was playing xbox. Afterwards while i was walking, i had this sharp stabbing pain in the right top side of my head were the jaw muscles are located. It hurt for a  while so i went to a store and bought some juice thinking that i was dehydrated. It soothed it a bit but it still hurt. The muscle is pretty tight and i am hoping that it isnt serious. Now few weeks have passed by and the pain has subsided. A little tight on both sides of head and it still it comes back but not that strong. I am also starting to get these throbbing pains in the forehead but i dont know if that has to do with the heat wave in Toronto. I also tend to clench my jaw a lot when i play sports or atch tv. Since, it is summer , i also sleep late and wake up in the afternoon but i still feel tired. Is this normal. Plz someone help!!!! I hope it isnt a tumor.

well it is now summer time and i have grown my hair very long so i think it has to do with heat. My diet is always the same and i excersise 3-4 times a week playing basketball. I am planning to get my hair shaved off and hopefuly i will feel better. Thanks.

Hello Dear,
Your pain could be a type of migraine headache. Is it associated with nausea, vomiting, dizziness?Migraine ca also be due to sensitivity to heat, exertion and some trigerring factors in the diet .You can take some NSAID for pain relief and if still the ain persists you should consult a neuro physician.
